Some of the tools rely on blocklists and reports, but others are trying to do more actual detection - which I agree is WAY better. The best is @Kerberus, which automatically detects phishing sites from the moment they launch and a user visits it (which is important for brand new sites). I have never found a scam site in the wild it hasn't detected and they specifically don't rely on blocklists.

SatoshiAI was a rug earlier this month. It was super hyped & raked people for a lot of money. I was fired up and ready to send in ETH, but when I hit send @Kerberus popped up. Unverified contract. Immediately faded. 2 hours later, it was a full rug. Sentinel3 is so legit!

This weekend @NftTrader’s front end was compromised and malicious transactions were shown to users. I checked out the site shortly after the compromise and @Kerberus caught the scam. Using a scam detection tool is really important, even with "safe" and official sites!

@Kerberus has saved my butt several times & helps to keep my situational awareness at an ath. Tells me about scam sites, scam x accounts, & even let me know I was pasting my seed phrase somewhere on accident.

Almost had my wallet drained. This is one of the most common scams on X, but a tired mind can and probably will slip sooner or later. @Kerberus is a true godsend - their plug-in literally warned me that I was about to visit a scam site.
